I would be honored to have the opportunity to campaign for Sherwood High School’s 9th grade Activities Coordinator position. I have run for this position in the past, and although I was not elected, the positive experience taught me an immeasurable amount of knowledge and skill through leadership, public speaking, and responsibility. In my career as a Sherwood Middle School student, I have been very involved in our school’s various extracurricular leadership opportunities. I am currently the Vice President of our National Junior Honor Society, and a two-year tour guide in our “SWAT” program. I have also been in Ms.Salm’s Leadership class throughout 7th and 8th grade. Through this class, I have had the opportunity to help organize and participate in events such as the Sherwood Middle School Canned Food Drive, Pennies for Patients, and various Raider Bucks competitions. I was recently nominated as a March Student of the Month for the area of Integrity/ Honorability.
As Activities Coordinator, my goal for our school community would be to make school fun for everyone. I would like to have the chance to make a difference in our Sherwood student body and provide an enjoyable, welcoming environment for all students.
Thank you!
